Cancellation Policy

Last updated 10 August 2026. This page covers your right to cancel a consulting engagement or a Reasoning Audit purchase, and the notice each side needs to give. For what happens to money on cancellation, see our Refund Policy.

1. How this page relates to our other terms

This policy sits alongside our Terms and Conditions and our Refund Policy. This page states whether you can cancel and what notice is needed. The Refund Policy states what happens to any fees already paid.

2. Consulting engagements (Automate, Decide, Deploy)

Either party may terminate a consulting engagement with 14 days’ written notice, unless the applicable signed proposal or statement of work (“SOW”) states a different notice period, in which case the SOW applies.

Either party may terminate an engagement immediately, without notice, for material breach by the other party, non-payment, or the other party’s insolvency.

Termination does not affect either party’s rights and obligations that accrued before the effective date of termination, as set out in the applicable SOW.

3. Reasoning Audit

You may cancel a Reasoning Audit purchase free of charge within 2 hours of purchase.

After that 2-hour window, or once we have visibly started work on your audit, whichever happens first, the purchase can no longer be cancelled. This reflects our 48-hour delivery target: work typically begins shortly after purchase, so a later cancellation window would not be meaningful.

4. If we need to cancel

Single Source may cancel or reschedule an engagement or a Reasoning Audit, with notice, where delivery is not reasonably possible on our side. Where this happens, any fees you have already paid for undelivered work are refunded in full, per our Refund Policy.

5. How to give notice

To cancel a consulting engagement or a Reasoning Audit purchase, email info@singlesource.co.za. For a Reasoning Audit specifically, you can also reply to the confirmation you receive from bookings@singlesource.co.za.
